About Us

PrecisionMasks were originally produced by Collins Clayton & Co, a family firm, first established in 1801 in Wisbech, Cambridge-shire, England.

Developed to give finer detail, greater control and more reliability, PrecisionMask is a highly advanced photo resist system developed for production engraving.

At first used only in-house, and then spreading via trade contacts in the crystal manufacturing & engraving industry, PrecisionMask (under its original name of SuperMask) quickly became the leading system in the UK. SuperMask Ltd was formed as a separate company in 1993 and became PrecisionMasks Ltd in 2003.

Made to Order PrecisionMasks are manufactured by the parent company, Collins Clayton & Co (still owned and run by the same family that founded the company over 200 years ago) and now based in Scotland, by the Mull of Kintyre.
