Mask Peeling

PrecisionMask Film

The mainstay of the range is PrecisionMasks Fine Resist Film.

Now in its third generation, this film is the basis of the very latest technologically advanced photo active resist system. Capable of far higher resolution than its competitors, PrecisionMask film can be used in different ways to give a full range of engraving styles.

Offering an unrivalled combination of quality and adaptability, PrecisionMask Film is supplied as a two component system comprising Stencil Film (in sheet or roll form) and Carrier Film (in liquid form).

The Stencil Film is exposed and washed out, then coated with Carrier Film. When the Carrier Film has dried, the clear base film (upon which the Stencil Film was originally supplied) is peeled off and discarded. Leaving the completed PrecisionMask.

To apply, the PrecisionMask is floated on to the glass using a very thin, but extremely strong, water based glue. When the glue has dried, the Carrier Film is removed, leaving only the stencil on the glass - no membrane or sticky glue to blast through!

After blasting, the PrecisionMask simply floats off in water!

N.B. PrecisionMasks can also be supplied in ready to use form, made up to your own design requirements - click here for details.
